Co-op Vision Statements
- In order to ensure that our housing stock is maintained to a reasonable standard we will need to adopt a long-term maintenance and financial plan that will be reflected in future housing charges.
- In the event that, in the future, governments will not make subsidy monies available to assist in housing our members that are unable to pay full housing charges, we will establish a subsidy program to assist them.
- We will endeavor to provide our members with co-operative education that will enable and empower them to be full participants in our co-operative.
- Our policies and procedures will ensure that diversity, which is the cornerstone of our co-op community, is maintained and nurtured.
- In order to provide affordable housing we will make the best use of our housing stock by housing members in units appropriate to their family size.
- To ensure the long-term viability of our co-operative we will require both the participation of our members and professional services.
- In the future we will maintain our relationship with the co-operative housing sector.
- We envision Pacific Park Place to be a model of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
